Community Training The Community Training Services is a division of the Louisiana Firefighters Foundation. The CTS furthers the Foundation’s goal of saving lives and property by empowering the community to understand what actions they should take to save lives prior to the arrival of public safety agencies. This “Citizen Responder” mentality will be the key vision that drives development and delivery of courses to the community. |
Safe & In Charge
This course is designed for students in grades 5th to 8th. Safe & in Charge covers basic life safety, childcare, business skills, basic CPR, first aid, and choking. This is not just a course for those looking to become #sittersuperstars, all are welcome that want to be more equipped for all that life can throw at them! | Ready Teacher / Ready Coach
Ready Teacher is designed for educators and educational facility staff. It consists of compression-only CPR and bleeding control courses. Upon successful completion, the participant will receive a certificate and a bleeding control kit designed for use in their workplace. This course is approximately 3-4 hours in length. |
