The Louisiana Firefighters Foundation, in partnership with Varnado & Sons Towing, LLC, is proud to present a specialized two-day training experience focused on modern vehicle extrication and emergency response techniques for today’s fire service professionals.
Held in Denham Springs, Louisiana, this NFPA-aligned Fire Rescue Tow Cross Training is designed specifically for firefighters and rescue personnel facing the growing challenges of electric, hybrid, and alternative-fuel vehicle incidents, as well as large-scale heavy-duty vehicle crashes.
Led by acclaimed instructors Ron Moore, Wes Wilburn, and JT Reasor—each with decades of hands-on experience in fire rescue, towing, and responder training—this course delivers the latest in tactical knowledge and practical skills. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of safe, efficient, and compliant operations involving advanced vehicle systems and large-scale rescue scenarios.

The American Towing & Recovery Institute of Fayetteville, NC was founded by Wes Wilburn, a towing industry veteran with over 40 years of experience and one of America’s Greatest Towing Trainers.

Requirements:
All fire personnel must bring full PPE and, where applicable, rescue apparatus to participate in hands-on field exercises.
